OUR STORY
Craft bartender Gabrielle Maser has over twenty years of experience designing, opening, bartending and working in restaurants here in Hawai‘i and on the West Coast, combined with a BA in Interior Design from Chaminade University. After working in some of the most amazing restaurants the west has to offer, Gabrielle trained and learned under Honolulu’s own master cocktail creator Christian Self of Bevy, designing and concocting unique, balanced beautiful cocktails.
Originally from Mill Valley, California, Gabrielle grew up near awe-inspiring nature, great wine, great food and was lucky enough to find her true home when she moved to Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i in 1995. After more then ten years behind the bar, sitting at a bar in Oahu, she borrowed a book of mixology and it was all over from there. Learning and knowing your ingredients paired with a never-ending growing collection of spices and flavors and then figuring out how it all goes together is what make the job a more like being a creative, skilled chef. Oahu was the perfect think tank to continue to learn about the production of alcohol as well as all the history and stories that go in to each bottle, each ancient cordial.
